EASTER
EASTER MORNING "I can’t sleep," I said in the middle of the night. "What's wrong?" my mom called out from my sister Rose's room. I guess she couldn’t sleep either. I was so excited for Easter because I had a fun day planned. My mom came into my bed to sleep with me. My mom wasn’t helping me sleep she was actually making me stay awake because she was snoring. I didn’t close my eyes once. My mom told me and my two sisters that we had to stay in bed until 7:30. I just stared at the ceiling for hours. It was 7:29 me and my sisters woke my parents up. "don't peek at your Easter baskets" my mom said. I couldn't help but peek at my basket. My parents finally came downstairs.
